The Scientific Approach to Buddhist Study --
The Mathematical Principle

Student: It seems no one agrees that it doubles the speed of light. Master: Let's leave that alone first. A light comes in this way and the other comes from the opposite way. To the first electron of each light, the corresponding speed is supposedly two times the speed of light. On the other hand, a light heads toward the east and the other toward the west. To the first electron of each light, the speed at which they separate from each other also doubles the speed of light. If this premise stands, then another situation occurs. When the black hole is distorting, splitting, colliding into an explosion again, if you stand at the central point of explosion, you will see that the two speeding particles leave you in opposite directions, or if you stand in the very front of a light, then the speed the other light leave you in the opposite direction, should be two times the speed of light.      If this situation holds to be true, then that means what Stephen Hawking says about the determinate characteristic of time is incorrect because time has no determinate characteristic both in the broad and the narrow sense. Time will be distorted at any speed as fast as the speed of light, not to mention what will happen with a speed that is two times the speed of light.

     Assume that time is distorted even more. One light moves to the right and the other moves to the left. Suppose the light going to the right represents time. (Light is time and time is light. Time on the earth planet is measured by the speed of light.) If the one moving to the right is defined as positive time, then the one moving to the left must be negative time. Only when the addition of positive and negative values results in zero will the equilibrium be met. Otherwise, both universes will be destroyed if both exist at the superlunimal speed. Suppose the distance between two universes is two times the speed of light, both universes will be destroyed concurrently. That is because the time distortion inside each of the universes is so severe that both universes exist in the state of separation and integration simultaneously. When the two separate, each will evolve on its own; however, because time is distorted, the two will overlap in the same position at any time and collide into destruction. Therefore, they have to harmonize each other and the way to harmonize each other is to have both the positive and the negative time. Each universe lives in its own time scale to avoid the destruction.

     If the original distance in terms of time has the same time axis and time is distorted, the two universe will explode upon overlapping at a certain point of time! Why does the universe continue to survive? That is because there are both the positive and the negative time. If this is the situation, when the black hole splits, we observed that the positive time on our side is 15 billion light years and there is an immense blank space in the middle, beyond which is the moment the black hole explodes. Suppose this side of the galaxy lives normally, separately from the other universe, and is not affected by the positive and the negative time, then the blank area in the middle must exceed one trillion light years.

Student: One trillion light years? It is almost ten thousand times 15 billion light years. This was my question.

Master: More than ten thousand times! If it is really ten thousand times, ten thousand times of 15 billion is 150 trillion. In the universes, it requires more than that much time for a galaxy to enter a stable state after formation. I think that the 15 billion light years we have detected do not fully cover the entire area yet. Today's theory predicts up to 20 billion light year. In my opinion, if I am right, there might be 30 billion light years. If we take 30 billion light years and the multiplying factor in the middle, ten thousand times might be too exaggerating, but it is pretty close!

     It is a pity that Stephen Hawking has never thought that time would have negative scales. He does not think that the negative time exists.

Student: In fact he does now think that the negative time exists. That is because last time when he addressed the closed loop particles, he talked about time moving in both directions. One direction of time is "positive" and the other direction of time is "negative." He only mentioned the existence of the closes loop particles as the only way to explain infinite energy. (To us, it is a way to explain Buddha nature.) Because the infinite energy exists, the universe is kept in balance. Otherwise, there are no explanations to many problems. Therefore, he has already admitted that time might move in the other direction.

Master: That is very good!

Student: He now also admits that time travel is possible because he thinks that if particles can go back to the past, they might as well go in the other direction. Then it is possible for man to get there.

Master: The theory I just explained is different from the theory you just said that "we can go back to the past." "We can go back to the past" is still the positive time to us. Because there is positive time that has happened, we may go back to the past of the positive time scales. The theory I just brought up about -1 second, -2 second is different. To the positive time, these minus moments have not yet happened. This is the biggest difference. Before, people thought of time and space travel as possible but that was a concept built only after the science fiction had been turned into real science. But that is something very different from what I just said in that -1 second, -2 second are moments that have not yet happened in our universe.

The Black Hole is a Form of Life

Student: Is the phenomena in the black hole very similar to that in the tunnel of life and death?

Master: The black hole is a life? The black hole is not the mass. A black hole is like a person who has life and death, is able to walk, move, talk, except that it is bigger in size and looks black, that is all. It is easier for us to understand if we describe it as an "amoeba." When an amoeba eats something, it must move to touch the food and then surround it to include it within its own body so that it can digest. This is the eating process of amoeba.

     What about the black hole? It is a form of life that has higher wisdom than amoeba because it learns so much! Upon attracting things into itself, it has already learned everything there is to know of what it took in. It learns much faster than we do! We learn whatever there is about ourselves and the present. It learns all the history of a billion year old planet, including all the processes and thoughts of a lifetime in just one moment. Its form of life is much more advanced than ours !

     They seem to be huge in our eyes in the universe that they can attract in a planet in one breath. However, for the black holes, they are merely taking in food, except that they are able to eat more in one bite. They eat anything, including light. The loneliest thing in the universe is light. Do we not see through the Hubble Telescope star lights from five billion, ten billion, or even fifteen billion light years ago? The star light was radiated from that planet fifteen billion light years ago and has traveled in solitaire through the universe for such a long time to reach us. I feel that the loneliest thing among all lives in the universe is light. It has gone through a very long journey in the universe all by itself. No one pays attention to it until it reaches some planet to be detected by a technology of a more advanced civilization. Nonetheless it still has to continue the journey into infinite time and space, penetrating the boundless universe and no one is there to keep him company.

     To a black hole, a light passing by is attracted into its body and everything the light has ever gone through is also learned!

Student: Since the black hole is a form of life, how does it do its cultivation?

Master: You don't need to worry for it at all. Think about it: in every planet there are Buddhas and Bodhisattvas living on it. As soon as you take one planet in, all the Buddhist doctrines are learned. It learns much faster than we do! Actually, the way the black hole learns is a very good way. In this universe it is a very advanced form of life! It is the only one in the three realms that has reached that level! It transforms freely in any way it wants. It changes into a Buddha land in one thought. It has learned infinite things. It has infinite energy. Look how big it is. You cannot even talk to it! The whole solar system is much smaller compared to it! Will you talk to the bacteria in your body? You cannot even find it ! Of course, a black hole will also die.

Student: Since its form of life is so advanced, then why did the Maya culture disappear? Why was the place in Russia hit by the black hole?

Master: Some black holes are naughty as a child! It is just like a child playing marbles. Once a marble is shot, it hits the sands.

Student: And we are like that sands.

Master: Exactly! For the sand, it is being hit by some unknown object for no reason and that black hole is still not aware of what it has done.

The Birth of A New Galaxy -- The Collision and fusion of Galaxies

Student: Peter Faun once mentioned in his books that he went to the heavens with Sovereign Sakra Heaven and Wei-to Bodhisattva and saw the war between galaxies. If galaxies fight with galaxies, there must be wisdom in the war. Then I wonder, first of all, where wisdom comes from? Why is there wisdom when these galaxies cluster? Second, as their wisdom is so great, are those wars predestined since the moment of the big bang? Or, do they also fight over trivial things as we do in our lives?

Master: The wars among the galaxies or nebula are more dreadful and more heated than any war you have ever seen. Once you see it, you will know that the way we humans fight is like a kids game compared to theirs.

They fight in clusters of hundreds of billions of planets, colliding into each other. One galaxy has hundreds of billions of planets and the other has tens of billions of planets. The one with hundreds of billions of planets wants to eat up the other one with tens of billions of planets. The energy that explodes from the bigger galaxy devours that of the smaller one. The smaller one struggles to break the gravity of the bigger one. If the small one fights with the big one, it has to find the right niche to break the gravitational balance and disintegrate the big one. It is not certain that the big one wins when devouring other smaller ones. It is just like fist fighting when hundreds of billions of planets collide with tens of billions of planets. That is why planets sometimes deviate from their orbits suddenly. This is real wisdom-like a form of life. (Figure D)

     As said before, the black hole is a form of life. A black hole is a life like us people. When an enormous galaxy is revolving, why does another galaxy want to eat it up? It is absolutely not an issue that is as simple as expansion or attracting the gravity in physics. There is a purpose behind. All galaxies, like our own lives, have the inner desire to have their own offspring. The way they produce their own offspring is that they eat others up. To collide with other galaxies is their way to destroy. When others are destroyed, they make use of the great volume of energy thus generated to form new planets in their own galaxy. That is pretty much the situation. Therefore, a galaxy with hundreds of billions of planets eats up another galaxy with tens of billions of planets.      After the smaller one is destroyed, the big one is able to form new planets with the help of the energy generated from the explosive collision. And, that is the way it reproduces.

Remarks

     The Washington Post of the U.S. 7/15/99 Reuter's report (also the China News of Taiwan 7/17/99 report) states that according to the latest photos transmitted back from the Hubble Telescope (http://www.sci.esa.int/hubble), more than a dozen star systems crossed over each other in the galactic cluster (MS1054-03) at 8 billion light years from the earth. The image shows that two galaxies are confronting each other while other stars are dashing out of their own orbits and colliding into each other. Scientists believe that an even bigger cosmic galaxy shall be produced after these collisions and fusion. The full report of this discovery will be published on The 1 August issue of Astrophysical Journal Letters.

     This discovery and Master Lee's remarks intersect and prove each other. I cannot help but feel humble about myself upon understanding the immensity of what is still out there for humans to discover and learn.
